NAET and Autism

Allergies in children have increased more than 50% since 1997. This is linked to 21st century lifestyle, an ever increasing change to our natural foods and an increased use of Antibiotics in early childhood (3 courses by 2 years of age). Antibiotics destroy the microbiota in the gut. This is causing long term problems to children’s immune system and can lead to severe allergies and food intolerances.

A study in the US by the NAET Research Foundation has revealed food and nutrition sensitivities to play a significant role in the lives of autistic children and adults.

Autism is, according to NAET, a nutritional deficiency disorder causing biological and developmental problems in children. The nutritional deficiency is not caused by failing to take enough nutrients with food, but by poor digestion, absorption, assimilation and utilisation of essential nutrients due to allergies/intolerances.

Autistic children are not digesting properly whatever they consume and their bodies do not receive enough essential nutrients from food or supplements they take. NAET offers help to those children and adults. After successfully treating for all the nutrients to have a healthy body and mind, children often make a remarkable improvement in all aspects of their lives.

The same treatment plan applies for children with ADD, ADHD or dyslexia.
